After doing some digging through my old makeup products, I decided to do some research on all of the brands I had previously bought, and if any of them had ever or currently test on animals I am going to throw it out and start being more careful about what brands I buy. So, that being said, here is the list of brands who currently animal test that I will no longer be buying from.
Loreal (Click the link below for some light reading on what steps they are taking to stop this animal testing within the company)

Aziza
Elizabeth Arden
Givenchy
Lancome
L’Oreal
Max Factor
Maybelline
Rimmel
Sally Beauty Supply
Shisiedo
These companies do not test there products directly, however they buy from chemical distributers that do. Thats just as bad. Just because you weren’t the one holding the gun, doesn’t mean you weren’t at the scene of the crime. (Guilty by association!)
Essie (yes, essie! Acquired by L’Oreal in April 2010)-
Estee Lauder
MAC NYC/New York Color
OPI
Finally, the list of companies who don’t test on animals at ALL and who do not by from companies who do! yay!
Deborah Lippmann (vegan)
Jesse’s Girl
Misa (vegan)
NFU Oh
Orly
Rescue Beauty Lounge
Today i found a TON of great finds! Today was a white tag sale at the thrift store I shopped at and so I geared most of finds based on that, although there were some that I couldn’t leave without!
Todays total cost was $59.89 after tax. I was able to get 17 Items including an Arden B. Winter Jacket! The Arden B. Jacket alone would have been around $70-$100. So I would have to say that overall todays finds were a success!
See you guys next week on Saturday February 25th for another Saturday Salvage!
